Sometimes I feel I’ve lost my luck
I try so hard, and yet can’t think

Life’s been drained, pulled down by muck
I’m falling far, far past the brink

Within the circle of the world, I’m stuck
My mood will go up, then quickly sink

Mixed feelings of jumping out before the truck
Or tainting blood with poison ink

Up and down my life will buck
Someone will break my repaired link

I’d love to hold my head and duck
Forever lock myself beneath the sink
